Leading appliance manufacturer Hoover has unveiled the UK’s first family of WiFi enabled appliances, Hoover Wizard at an event at London’s Saatchi Gallery.
The event attracted over one hundred guests and journalists who enjoyed presentations from the senior Hoover team, live demonstrations of the appliances, as well as a specially choreographed performance from ‘The Dance Mob’, the UK’s leading light robotic dance act.
Steve Macdonald, marketing director of Hoover freestanding division, commented: “The Wizard launch event was truly fantastic, giving visitors the chance to try the new appliances for themselves in one of the most prestigious locations in London. We were thrilled to welcome customers and press from across the UK and were delighted with the level of interest in the ground-breaking new range.”
The revolutionary product line includes a selection of washing machines and dishwashers, as well as a fridge-freezer, oven, hob and hood, enabling consumers to have a fully-connected WiFi kitchen that they can control remotely via one single app.

As part of the Wizard event, Hoover announced that it was launching on social media for the first time with its Twitter channel @Hoover_UK offering followers the latest news, promotions, domestic tips and more, from the trusted household brand.
The company also unveiled the results of a brand new independent survey which offers a range of insights into UK households and highlights that 40 per cent of Brits would be interested in operating their appliances remotely via WiFi.
