With the price of water and electricity ever rising many consumers are looking for the latest in water saving technology.

Advanced water saving technology has been a key focus for developers at Bosch as they ensure that the optimum usage is possible from every drop of water. To lower water usage Bosch has developed ActiveWater technology throughout its dishwashing and laundry products.

In laundry Bosch are committed to saving water with ActiveWater consumption. The Bosch A+++, 8kg, 1400 spin speed washing machine (WAQ283SOGB) with active water technology uses just 8,700 litres per year (based on 220 standard wash cycles). This means that over 5 years this machine could give the consumer 459 free washes – the equivalent of 2 years wash cycles compared to a similar 13 year old Bosch machine.
